This recipe is for my favourite smoothie. It contains phytoestrogens which help to balance oestrogen, and maca powder which is also good for women of a maturing age! It also contains the nutritious and energy giving raw cacao powder, the beneficial properties of manuka honey and the positive benefits of catechins in matcha green tea. Plus the wholesome nutritious benefits of organic raw milk (can be substituted for almond or oat milk).
1 organic banana
1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
1 teaspoon – 1 tablespoon maca powder
1 teaspoon manuka honey (10+ or more)
1 serving (1g) matcha green tea
approx 15 blueberries (can be frozen)
1 teaspoon virgin coconut oil (optional) – or try smooth peanut butter!
1 teaspoon psyllium husks (optional – if you want fibre)
enough raw milk (or oat/almond milk) to cover (approx 300ml)
Stick it all in and whizz in your blender!
